Important Notice Before Submitting an Adoption Application
Before completing an application to adopt a dog through Real Rottweiler Rescue, please ensure that all information provided is truthful and accurate. Every application is carefully screened, and any false or misleading responses will result in immediate disqualification.
Please review the following requirements before applying:
Veterinary Relationship: If you currently own a pet, you must have an established relationship with a licensed veterinarian. If you do not have a vet or know that your vet would not be able to provide a positive reference for your level of care, please do not apply.
Housing Status: If you rent your home, do not falsely claim to be the owner. We verify ownership status, and any discrepancy will result in disqualification.
Homeowners Associations (HOAs): If you live in an HOA-regulated community, it is your responsibility to confirm there are no breed or size restrictions before applying. If your HOA does not allow Rottweilers or large breed dogs, please do not apply.
Verification Delays: Your application may be delayed if:
Your vet has not been notified to release information to us;
Your landlord or property manager fails to respond;
Your references are unreachable or unresponsive.
To streamline the process, we strongly recommend notifying your veterinarian, landlord, HOA (if applicable), and personal references that a representative from Real Rottweiler Rescue will be contacting them. Their timely responses play a major role in how quickly your application is processed.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to find safe, loving, and responsible homes for our dogs.
